Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an Mexican American sportscaster. She currently works for ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. She began working for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. Since she was nine years old, Collins's capacity to speak two languages has allowed her to get the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant producer at Univision. At the time of her senior year in high school but with a clear idea about what she wanted to pursue for her life, Antonietta went to her local University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her preferences. The result was that she liked the campus and that the school provided the degree she was looking for. When she completed her high school education she attended the university to study media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was member of her class, formed an ongoing relationship with the student. Mark's passion for journalism and confidence in her own abilities instilled confidence in her. In turn, she attempted to live up to the standards he set and to not disappoint him.
